Soak City Palm Springs Located in the heart of Palm Springs, Knott's Soak City offers a great way to beat the heat of our warm, Southern California summers. The theme of the water park is inspired by the California surf culture of the 1950's, with old Woodie cars, surf music, the roar of the water and the smell of tanning lotion. Knott's Soak City is all about thrills, chills, and making a big splash! Wild 'N' Crazy Rides There are several fun and unique rides that make up Southern California's wildest water park, Soak City. Below is a list of all the thrilling water rides where you're sure to get soaked! Pacific Spin: Four person raft ride. 48" height requirement. Tidal Wave Tower: Two high-speed slides that are 7 stories tall! 48" height requirement. Sea Snake: One 50 foot dark slithering tube slide. 42" - 48" height requirement. If the child is between 42" to 48", they must wear a personal flotation device. Pipeline Point: Three 70 foot tall body slides. 42" - 48" height requirement. If the child is between 42" to 48", they must wear a personal flotation device. -Pipeline -Undertow -Wipeout Surf Rider Rapids: One 60 foot multi-rider open slide. 42" - 48" height requirement. Rip Tide Reef: 800,000 gallon Wave Pool. Life jacket is required for anyone who is less than 48" in bare feet, or is an inexperienced or non-swimmer. Sunset River: Lazy river approximately 600 feet long. Life jacket is required for anyone who is less than 48" in bare feet, or is an inexperienced or non-swimmer. Gremmie Lagoon: Two kiddie slides. Must be less than 48" height. Kahuna's Beach House: Family funhouse with 5 water slides. 40" height requirement. Hungry? Choose from places like Hodad's, which has salads, sandwiches, and burgers, or grab a burrito, nachos and more from Taquito Banditos. Looking for tasty barbecue? Well look no further because Surfin' Chicken is the place to be. If you're on the go and want to grab a quick piece of pizza or some snacks, you can stop off at Long Boards Cafe. Whether you want to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal or you're on the go, Soak City has something for everyone. Frequently Asked Questions I'm just going to watch the kids swim; I'm not getting in the water. Do I still have to pay? All guests entering Soak City must pay an admission fee. Regular admission prices apply. Is there a parking fee? All-day parking fees are as follows: Autos: $10 Buses & RVs: $16 Preferred parking (close to the park entrance): $15 Can I bring a cooler or my own food into the park? Outside food, beverages, glass containers, and coolers are restricted from entering Soak City. Small hand-held coolers containing water or other sports/hydrating drinks are allowed. Do you sell food in the park? Soak City offers food venues to meet all tastes. Options include hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, pizza, burritos, nachos, sandwiches, salads, and much more. A variety of beverage products are served at each food venue. Food carts and snack and beverage vending machines are also located throughout the park. Do you have lockers? All day locker rentals are available for a nominal fee of $10. We also offer a $3 voucher good at the Wipeout Surf Shop upon returning the key. Do you have chairs or lounge chairs in the park? Chairs and lounge chairs are provided free of charge throughout the park, and are available on a first come first serve basis. Are there shaded areas in the park? There are shaded structures and trees that also provide shade. Chairs are available in the shaded areas on a first come first serve basis. Are life jackets provided? Life jackets are provided free of charge. Adult and child sizes are available at various locations in the park. May I bring my own flotation device? Personal flotation devices are restricted from entering Soak City. Are inner tubes available? Inner tubes are available free of charge at the tube slides, wave pool, and lazy river. The inner tubes must be left at those locations when not in use. If you would like your own personal inner tube, all-day tube rentals are available for $6 each. What is the water temperature? The regular water temperature ranges from 74 to 76 degrees. What should I remember to bring? For your protection and comfort, Knotts Soak City recommends that you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, beach towels and sandals. If you forget any one of these items, you can purchase them in our Wipeout Surf Shop inside the park. Attire and Personal Beach Equipment Proper swimwear is required. Guests who enter wearing long pants, denim, swimwear with rivets, buckles, metal, or plastic ornamentation will not be permitted in the pools or activity areas. Flotation devices, lounges, barbecues, glass containers and related items are not allowed inside Soak City. Men's and Women's changing rooms are provided, and lockers are available for a small fee. Tubes are provided at all attractions where required. Life vests are provided at no charge. Safety All aquatics staff are certified in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding. A First Aid station is located inside the water park. As safety is everyone's responsibility, inappropriate or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and is subject to immediate removal from Soak City Water Park. | ||||||||||||
